The officers in the jail were respectful and even helpful. The Sheriff of Walworth County even gave me a ride to the atm in the frigid cold of Selby, South Dakota. I do feel though that I was pulled over because of an out of state license plate. I was told I was speeding...in a blizzard... ohhh well I will never go through south Dakota again I just wanted to see mount Rushmore! The jail itself was very small and dilapidated looking like it was literally part of a house. Very weird experience. No bondsman can be called from Selby so if you don't have the cash on hand for bail you are stuck there until your court date.
